I usually wouldn’t touch spec work with a ten foot pole, but Alex Bogusky’s FearLess Revolution was aiding the development of a logo for the Center for Science in the Public Interest’s annual Food Day – a day in October similar in spirit to Earth Day to raise awareness about our food, where it comes from, and how to eat healthy. Spec work for charity? sure, why not?
One of my two options was selected as one of six finalists – and while I didn’t win in the end, the contest did help put clothes on my back (well, a t-shirt anyway).
