Nichols College came to smith&jones advertising seeking a new look that would differentiate themselves from the many other colleges advertising in the Central MA area. Working directly with the creative director and copywriters I aided in the development of a bold new look for Nichols. This new look highlighted straight-forward statements intended to push those who had considered furthering their education, but never managed to take that first step into enrollment. I worked to design both digital and traditional assets for the campaign, ranging from banner ads to billboards.

A second major step was to work on a much-needed update to the Nichols College website. The college looked for a step back from the hard-hitting messaging from the current advertising campaign, and requested a more colorful and welcoming website.
Serving as front-end developer I worked directly with the account team and back-end developer to determine which content management system was the best fit for the client and our development needs. The planning processes for such a comprehensive website included wire-framing, extensive UI research, and the necessity for laying out a strict milestone-based schedule. Unfortunately I moved on to my current position at Connelly Partners before I was able to see this project through to fruition.
